Leader Capital Corp (Mutual Fund) is looking for an External Wholesaler to initiate and cultivate relationships with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), financial planners, family offices, broker/dealers, consultants and other institutional clients throughout the United States. Some of the daily responsibilities include the following:
Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with key distributors to increase Fund awareness.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Fund and its strategies through meetings with the Portfolio Manager and Analyst.
Deliver sales presentations and conduct meetings with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), financial planners, broker/dealers, family offices, consultants and other institutional clients
Meet sales goals by managing budget while maximizing time and resources
Report sales activities and opportunities in our client database
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and committed to learning the industry. They must have the ability to work autonomously and with the team—willing to help others when necessary. As a small fund there is significant opportunity to get in at the grass roots. Leader Capital Corp manages a four-star short term bond fund, and is raising assets rapidly. Currently Leader has over 500 million assets under management.
Skills & Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or Business Administration is required
Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred but not necessary (candidates must get licenses within two months of employment)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must work out of the Portland, Oregon office (relocation costs not covered)
Travel Required (2 or 3 days per month)
Salary
Commission and possible salary of $3,000/month up to the first 6 months.
